Greg brought 25k check as first investment. Briefly discussed naming opportunity, but Greg mainly wants to see where this goes and whether we can break ground quickly.

Reviewed campaign website and was inspired to write the check to then see what we will do with it. Substantive conversation around Catholic ed in the region. Feedback is that if we build this, people will come. Really drawn to the campus plan and architecture. Specifically, in giving, look for success in terms of alumni outcomes (schools notably) and infrastructure, so do you have the people and capacity. Specific examples cited are teacher pay and teacher competence.

Lots of overlap between Greg's networks and Nick's networks.

Should follow up eventually with specific alumni and faculty stats, including payscale vs county.

In terms of long term, the initial read that their grandkids could go here may not be right. Daughter pulled kids out of St Pat's and is homeschooling. Likely will move to FL with their other daughter who is getting married end of Sept 2026. Potentially could stay if excellent options, but seems likely they will all end up in FL, or at least the kids will.
